Adeline Prahl, 87, of Weston passed away on Monday, June 19, 2017 at Rennes Health and Rehab Center under the care of Aspirus Hospice Services.
She was born August 4, 1929 in the town of Texas to the late Arthur and Elsie (Steffen) Traska. She grew up on the family farm with 13 siblings. Together they raised a family of seven children on their town of Wausau dairy farm. Adeline worked hard all her life and took pride in helping run the family business. When you visited Adeline, you could always expect a clean home, homemade cookies in the cookie jar and a taste of her special home cooking. She also enjoyed gardening, sewing and baking. Christmas Eve was her favorite family gathering as all of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren would come together and enjoy all the special treats she had made.
Survivors include her daughters, Linda (Jim) Glatczak of Wausau, Karen (Jon) Roble of Weston; sons, Jerome, Arlo (Sue), John, Clifford (Kristine) Prahl all of Wausau, seventeen grandchildren, ten (soon to be thirteen) great grandchildren, sister, Caroline (Stuart) Kuehl, brother, David Traska, sisters-in-law, Helen Traska and Darlene (Earl) Ramthun all of Wausau and many nieces and nephews.
