Addie was born in the Town of Berlin, on October 20, 1923, to Andrew and Amelia (Graveen) Pagel. Raised on a farm in Nauguart, she also attended school until the 8th grade. She then went to work on the Raduenzel farm, meeting her future husband, Raymond Raduenzel. They were married June 1, 1940. Addie lived in the Wausau area for 41 years, raising her family; and spent 12 years each in California and Prineville, OR, before returning home to Wausau. She attended 1st English Lutheran Church and Christ Community Church, both in Wausau.
Addie spent her life caring for those around her and was never afraid to work. Whether it was working on the family farm with her husband, being a caregiver to other families and the elderly, or spending time with her own family; everything was done with grace, pride, patience, and love. She liked entertaining family and friends and could put on a great spread of food. It seemed there was always a lot more food than people! In her spare time, she enjoyed doing needle point and playing cards. Addie was a special person who always held herself to a higher standard, even through the years of her failing health. She will never be forgotten by those who loved and knew her and will be deeply missed by all.
Adeline “Addie” Hilma Raduenzel left her earthly home to join her Savior in eternity on October 15, 2009, at Kennedy Park Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Weston.
