Allen D. Anker, 89, of Wausau, passed away on Monday, April 13, 2015, at Aspirus Hospice House. He was born to Lloyd and Marjorie (Allen) Anker in Platteville on March 5, 1926. Allen married Lois Lanigan in Wausau on August 14, 1948.
He worked as a dairy and Ginseng farmer for many years, and he was an animal lover. Allen will be remembered as a person that was very generous, fair, and honest. He was a man with high integrity that loved his family.
Survivors include his wife, Lois; children, Suzzett (Duane) Myszka, Barry (Carole) Anker, Lynnette (Donald) Myszka, Victoria (Allen) Westphal, Alanna Anker, and Douglas (Lisa) Anker; grandchildren, Brian Myszka, Chad Myszka, Jacquelyn (Joel) Hunter, Trevor (Danni) Anker, Tyson Anker (Angela Wawrzyniakowski), Nathan (Maggie) Myszka, Faith (Rick) Stengl, Erin Myszka, Jordan (Bekki) Westphal, Chelsea (Antoine) Roberts, and Nick (Ashley) Anker; 19 great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Heideman, and sister-in-law, Charlotte Anker.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Marjorie; grandchildren, Robby Myszka and Tracy Anker; great-grandson, Thomas Myszka; and brother, Claire.
A private family memorial service was held at Trinity Lutheran Church, Wausau.
