Ambrose Borski, 95, of Wausau, died Saturday May 2, 2009 at home surrounded by family.
Ambrose Stanley Borski was born July 28, 1913 to the late John and Dora (Shachta) Borski in Wausau.
Ambrose married Margaret Meyer on June 23, 1956; she preceded him in death on May 12, 1999 after 42 loving years of marriage.
Ambrose enjoyed woodworking and being a volunteer Lieutenant for the Emergency Police for over 40 years.
Ambrose was an employee for Wisconsin Box, holding various positions within the company for over 65 years.
Ambrose is survived by his daughter, Dorathy (Steve) Reed of Burlington, WI; 2 grandchildren, Ryan and Jennifer Reed; and 2 sisters, Bernice Kordus and Dorothy Pergolski both of Wausau and loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 5 brothers, Anton, August, Chester, Roy, and Victor Borski; 2 sisters, Alice and Marian.
Funeral Mass will be 11 am, Tuesday May 5, 2009 at the Church of St. Anne, Wausau.
Father Steven Brice will officiate.
Visitation will be from 9:30 am until the time of the service at church.
Burial will be in Pine Grove following the service.
