Angela Mary Brezovar, 70, died Sunday, November 23, 2014 at Colonial Manor Medical and Rehab Center, Wausau.
Angela was born April 18, 1944 in Dublin, Ireland to the late Thomas and Frances (O'Neill) Maher. She immigrated to the US in 1960, marrying Edward Bruce Brezovar in Winter Haven, CA on July 26, 1966. The couple moved from Westminster, CA to Wisconsin in 1978 and became a Naturalized Citizen on April 29, 1993. Sadly, Edward died on October 17, 1991 after celebrating 25 years together.
Angela was a strong woman who loved having fun. She enjoyed dancing, music and being the life of the party. Angela loved jokes, she was especially known for never remembering the punch line or laughing hysterically when trying to get the get it out. In her free time, Angela enjoyed playing cards, reading (especially Irish writer, Maeve Binchy), travelling and spending time with friends, family and her grandchildren.
Angela is survived by her loving sons, Wayne, Daniel (Jen) and Greg (Julie) Brezovar; grandchildren, Lilly Beyer, Logan and Laney Brezovar; siblings, James (Margaret) Maher and Pauline Dillon; companion of 12 years, Frank Gerbert; and extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her sister, Moira Maher.
As per her wishes, no services will be held for Angela. Helke Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
