Annabelle Paula Jaeger, 94, of Rhinelander, formerly of Wausau, where she lived happily with her friends for 18 years at Sturgeon Bluff Apartments, died December 2, 2009, at home, with her family by her side.
Mrs. Jaeger was born October 16, 1915, the daughter of the late Emil and Anna (Dupke) Reinicke, in Wausau. On October 26, 1957, she was united in marriage to Gilbert L. Jaegler.
She is survived by her family, including her nephew, Robert F. Stein, Rhinelander; great-nephews and great-nieces, John (Lisa) Stein, Rhinelander, Jim (Ruth) Stein and family, Hortonville, and Jeff (Heidi) Stein and family, Cambridge.
Including her parents, Annabelle was predeceased by her husband, Gilbert, in 1991; and siblings.
Annabelle left this world with her beloved Gibby taking her by the hand to be together for all eternity. If you were truly Annabelle’s friend, you were her friend forever.
A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Friday, December 4, 2009, at Pine Grove Cemetery, Wausau. The Reverend Karen Ebert, of First United Methodist, will officiate. Please meet at the gate prior to the service.
