Arline Durand was born on 11/11/1908 to John & Henrietta Dumke. Passed away at age 103, nine days short of her 104th birthday.
Married Eugene Durand on May 1, 1943, in Chicago, IL.
She graduated from Wausau High, County Normal Teachers College, and UW Stevens Point with a B.S. in teaching. Started teaching first and second grade in 1933, in New Berlin, WI, and after 36 years, retired in 1963. Arline and Gene loved to travel throughout the world.
Member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Retired Teachers Association, YWCA Blue Triangle, and served as Secretary for the Shrine Ladies Auxiliary for many years.
Predeceased in death by parents, John & Henrietta Dumke; husband, Gene Durand; cousin and long-time caregivers, Herb and Bernice Lemke.
Private services will be held. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Wausau.
