Beatrice Delf

Beatrice May (Imm) Delf passed to the glory of God on Sunday, January 13th, after an extended illness.

She was born to Otto and Alma (Radtke) Imm on July 26th 1924, in the town of Maine, Marathon County, WI. Beatrice grew up with her brothers and sisters on a farm and many stories of love and laughter were shared from this part of her life. She went through the 8th grade and hard work was a large part of her life. All this helped to shape the years Beatrice was with us.

Beatrice met and fell in love with Edward Delf, and they were married on June 26th 1942. Edward preceded her in death in 1985. To this union, they were blessed with three children, all who survive Beatrice, and include, Gloria (Larry) Hammond, Edward (Pamela) Delf, and Patricia (Lyle) Ziegel.

Her family of siblings was large, as were a lot of farm families. Those that have passed before Beatrice include brothers, Lawrence, Marvin, and Emil; and sisters, Diana, Gertrude, Lorena, Agnes, Eva, and Vangie. Her sister, Janet, and brothers, Otto and Charles, remain to celebrate her and all their memories.

Beatrice had some angels that were a part of her life and struggles until the end. They include her loving sister, Janet and her brother, Otto, and his wife, Lanore. Eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren also survive her and are a testament to her love and life.

A celebration of Beatrice's life will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, January 17th, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Wausau. Reverend Gary Schultz will officiate. Entombment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park. Family will receive guests Thursday, at church, beginning at 9 a.m. until the time of service. Memorial donations are preferred, in lieu of flowers, and may be made to the Aspirus Hospice House.
