Bernice Jendrzejewski

Bernice Jendrzejewski, 85, of Wausau passed away on Friday, March 13, 2015 at UW Hospital, Madison.
She was born May 22, 1929 in Wausau to the late Henry and Eva (Zemke) Heyer. On June 16, 1951, Bernice married Walter Jendrzejewski at Trinity Lutheran Church, Wausau. She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church and the Ladies Guild. Bernice had many different interests which included flower gardening especially Violets, Bleeding Hearts and Glads, watching old movies, playing Bingo, shopping at Flea markets and listening to Sunday morning Polkas. Her family will miss her special home cooked meals along with the many hook rugs she enjoyed making.
Survivors include her daughter, Beverly (Arlan) Gades of Buffalo, MN, three sons, Wayne of Marathon, Gene and Gary of Wausau, three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Bernice was preceded in death by her husband, Walter on February 16, 1981, two brothers, three sisters and son-in-law, Melvin Hunt.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at the Helke Funeral Home, 302 Spruce St., Wausau. Reverend Bruce Lamont will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park.
