Bette Lane

Bette C. Lane, 72, of rural Wausau, passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2016, at her home.

Bette was born January 24, 1944, in Wausau to Ernest and Irene (Jakubowski) Stubbe. She received her education in the Wausau schools and graduated from Wausau East. On May 15, 1965, she was united in marriage to Richard L. Lane and they live their entire life in the Wausau area.

Bette enjoyed crafting, sewing, jewelry making and spending time with her grandchildren.

Bette is survived by two children, Candi (Steven) Kohn and Kevin (Collette) Lane both of Wausau, grandchildren; Hunter Lane, Destiny Lane, Tristen Lane, Samantha Kohn and Breanna Lane, Nicole Socha and Britney Socha. siblings Gary (Rose) Stubbe, Gene Stubbe, Erleen (Dennis) Fox, Stephanie (Roger) Nietzke and Carol (Gary) Gilles.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at Holy Name of Jesus Parish, 1104 South 9th Ave, Wausau. Visitation will be from 9:30 a. m. until service time at the church.
