Betty M Blaubach Patterson

Betty M. (Nee Frank) Blaubach Patterson, 97, of the Town of Berlin went to her heavenly home February 25, 2025 surrounded by her family.

Betty was born July 7, 1927, daughter of late Norman and Alice (Balson) Frank. She married Elroy N. Blaubach June 20, 1951. They were married for 43 years. He preceded her in death in 1995. They farmed together for many years. Betty met Calvin Patterson while square dancing and the two were married on July 5, 2003. She worked at Fromm Brothers, Wisconsin River Valley Cheese Factory, Cheese N More Store and various ginseng gardens. She was a charter member of the Kitchen Kookies Homemakers Group (HCE). She volunteered at Dime and Dollar, was a Naugart 4H leader and was an active member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Naugart, serving on the Ladies Aid Committee. Betty's true passion was her gardening and flowerbeds along with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed square dancing with the Lincoln Squares and attending square dancing conventions. Betty was an amazing baker who will be remembered for her chiffon birthday cakes, homemade donuts and her potato rolls.

Betty is survived by her husband Calvin Patterson; children Gloria (Roger) Kreager, David (Brenda) Blaubach and Duane (Diane) Blaubach; grandchildren Vickie (John) Surprise, Keith (Julianne) Kreager, Ryan (Julie) Kreager, Cody (Zack) Blaubach, Reanna Blaubach, Jessica (Van) Wurz, Christopher (Sarah) Blaubach, Brandon Blaubach and Jennica Blaubach; 10 great grandchildren; 1 step great grandson and two great-great grandchildren. She is further survived by her brother Carlton (Pat) Frank.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Elroy Blaubach; great grandson Dawson; brothers Glenn (Rose Mary) Frank and Art (Pat) Frank. She is also preceded in death by Eleanore (Albert) Schade, George (Dorothy) Blaubach, Violinda Limberg, Daniel (Verna) Blaubach, Lillian (Clarence) Wenzel, Ray (Pat) Blaubach, Alvin (Eldine) Blaubach and Ernest (Carol) Blaubach

Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 AM on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, 243219 Berlin Ln, Athens. The Rev. Joel Willitz will officiate. Visitation will take place from 9:00 AM until the time of service at the church on Thursday.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Paul Lutheran Church, 243219 Berlin Ln, Athens or Willow Springs Garden, 5480 Hillcrest Dr., Wausau.
