Bradley W. Tress, 81, of Wausau passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2015, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
He was born November 29, 1933 in Wausau, WI, son of the late William and Inez (Gowan) Tress. Bradley received his education in Wausau and later graduated from North Central Technical College where he studied plumbing.
Bradley worked as a contracted plumber for Local Union # 434. He spent 42 years working on contracted plumbing and heating jobs in paper mills, schools and new construction in Wisconsin and Michigan, retiring in 1996. He also served his country as a Marine for three years during the Korean War.
He was a loving husband and father and maintained a strong faith. He was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Wausau.
Bradley is survived by his wife of 45 years Ellen, one brother Ronald of Wausau, and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son Kurtis in 1985, a daughter Wanda in 2000, four brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 600 Stevens Drive, Wausau with Pastor Bruce Lamont officiating. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Interment will be in the Restlawn Memorial Park.
