Christopher Schreiner

Christopher David Schreiner, 46, passed away on Monday, June 24, 2013, at his home. He was born on January 12, 1967 in Edgar to Francis and MaryAnne (Leick) Schreiner. He was a life-long resident of the area, graduating from Edgar High School in 1985 and from Northcentral Technical College in 1987. He married Carrie Opichka on May 29, 1993, at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Wausau.
Christopher worked at MBX Packaging Specialists for 27 years and most recently was the Vice-President of Manufacturing. He also worked part-time at Home Depot for the past five years. He loved the outdoors where he could be found hunting or gardening, and loved spending time with his children.
Christopher is survived by his wife, Carrie; daughter, Arianna; sons, Logan, Mason, and Aiden; parents, Francis and MaryAnne; six sisters, Cathy (Tom) Quesnell, Charlotte (Jody) Ludkey, Christine (Corey) Parker, Colleen (Dave) Schremp, Cary (Dan) Napiwocki, and Coretta (Scott) Jahnke; three brothers, Charles (Christine) Schreiner, Craig (Sherri) Schreiner, and Courtney (Danielle) Schreiner; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 27, 2013, at St. John Lutheran Church, 5304 North 44th Ave., Town of Maine, with Rev. Dan Sire officiating. Family and friends may call beginning at 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
