Mr. Dale Edward Schultz, 81, lifelong resident of Wausau, died November 23, 2009, at his home.
Mr. Schultz was born April 15, 1928, the son of the late Edward and Anna (Schwede) Schultz. After graduation from high school, he served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He worked as a draftsman for Drott’s until his retirement in 1983. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, fly tying, and reading.
He is survived by his loving family, including his sister, Phyllis Hackbarth; 2 nieces, Susan Hackbarth and Sandra Hackbarth; 2 nephews, Scott Hackbarth, and Todd (Sue) Hackbarth; 1 great-niece; and 3 great-nephews; and long-time friend and companion of 47 years, Delores Chaignot.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Silas Schultz.
