Daniel (Wild Man) Petroski, 62, Wausau, died March 31, 2011, at Aspirus Hospital, surrounded by his family.
He was born December 8, 1948, to the late Felix and Margaret (Publ) Petroski. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife, of 29 years, Resa (Bohardt) Petroski; children, Jeremy D. Petroski, Jesse C. (Tara) Petroski, Daniel Petroski, Daniel Petroski II, and Lisa Petroski; 11 grandchildren; brothers, John Petroski, and Michael (Gloria) Petroski; sister, Patricia Proctor; 3 nephews; and 2 nieces.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey S. Petroski; granddaughter, Samantha Jo Petroski; and many aunts and uncles.
His family would like to thank hospice for their kindness and compassion during Daniel's last few days.
The family will receive guests from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 4th, at the Helke Funeral Home, Wausau. Full military honors, by V.F.W. Burns Post No. 388, will follow at the funeral home.
