Delores Weber

Delores H. Weber passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2014, at Rennes Health and Rehabilitation Center, Weston, under the care of Aspirus Hospice Services.

Delores was born September 20, 1928, to the late Otto and Lucy (Roever) Langenhahn, in the town of Cassel, WI. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Marathon. On September 23, 1950, Delores was united in marriage to Victor Weber, at Zion Lutheran Church, town of Easton.

The couple operated a registered Holstein dairy farm for 49 years, in the town of Hewitt. In 1989, they sold the farm, retired, and moved to the village of Weston. After Victor passed away September 30, 2001, Delores continued to live in their home in Weston. In February 2013, she moved to Renaissance Assisted Living, Weston.

Delores was famous for her delicious home cooked meals and bakery delights. She enjoyed taking pictures, gardening, and her work with the St. John Lutheran Church Ladies Aid Society and Senior Club.

Survivors include her sister, Marion Schalow, Wausau; four sisters-in-law, Joan (David) Walters, Harshaw, Ruth Schmeiden, Wausau, Gladys Langenhahn, Wausau, and Dorothy Langenhahn, Wausau; and many nieces and nephews. Along with her parents and husband, Victor, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Allan and Henry Langenhahn.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, February 8, at St. John Lutheran Church, town of Easton, with Reverend Timothy Coppersmith officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Family will receive guests, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m., Friday, February 7, at church; and again Saturday, at church, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
