Delores Wruck

April 11, 1931 — August 9, 2015

Delores M. Wruck, 84, formerly of Wausau, passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2015 at Cloverleaf Terrace, Birnamwood.

She was born April 11, 1931 in Bowler to the late Walter and Alma (Bierman) Baker. On January 21, 1950 she married Raymond Wruck at St. James Lutheran Church, Shawano. In her earlier years, Delores had worked at Wausau Hospital in the housekeeping department. For many years, Delores and Ray had belonged to Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Wausau, where Delores was a member of the Ladies Aid. They enjoyed traveling and fishing at Long Lake in Harrison Hills. Her favorite past times included sewing, crocheting afghans, reading and gardening. Delores was known for her baking skills and always made sure the cookie jar was full.

Survivors include her three sons, Dennis (Lana) of Birnamwood, Randy (Vicki) of Birnamwood, Dale (Lois) of Hatley, four grandchildren, Robb (fiancé-Ellie) Wruck, Amanda (Joel) Case, Jeremy and Matthew Wruck, two great grandsons, Kyler Wruck and Jason Case, one great great granddaughter, McKinnley Rae Wruck, four step grandchildren, Adam (Debbie) Resch, Heather (Ernie) Koeppel, Lacey and Nicki Schreurs, eight step great grandchildren, Austin, Jayda and Mason Resch, Payton and Landon Praslowicz, Kolton Klitzka, Christina Schreurs, Alexis Mattson and many nieces and nephews.
Delores was preceded in death by Ray on November 12, 2004, her daughter, Diana on May 7, 2012, two sisters, Betty (Wallace) and Joanne (Allen) Hintz and her brother, Arnold (Elaine) Baker.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Birnamwood. Reverend Adam Roberts will officiate. Visitation will be at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. On Thursday, visitation will resume at 10:00 a.m. at Restlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum, Wausau concluding with prayers at 11:30 a.m. You may sign our family guest book at helke.com.
