Diane Glinski

February 19, 1943 — August 19, 2015

Diane M. Glinski, 72, of Rothschild, and formerly of Stevens Point and Quincy, IL passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 19, 2015, after a long illness due to complications of Parkinson Disease, surrounded by her loving husband and family, under the care of Aspirus Hospice House.

Diane was born on February 19, 1943 to the late Clarence and Leila (Kluck) Konopacky in Stevens Point. She attended school in Stevens Point and graduated from Maria High School. She furthered her education at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, and Quincy University. She married her grade school and high school classmate, William Glinski, on October 30, 2004 in Quincy IL, who survives. Diane was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church.

Diane was a dedicated wife and homemaker, and loving mother to her three sons: Stephen Westerhoff, Nashville, TN, Paul Westerhoff, Quincy, IL, and John (Mitzi) Westerhoff, Highlands Ranch, CO; and her three grandchildren: Sam, Brett, and Juliet.

She is further survived by her step-children: Gregory Glinski, Catherine (Greg) Below, and Elizabeth (Christopher) Portman, all of Antigo and Mark Glinski of Lake Tomahawk and their children: Tyler, Kyle, Blake, Cody, Danielle, Billy and Max; and by many friends.

Diane loved art, playing tennis, gardening, antiques, volunteering, piano, travel, time in Florida, and most importantly being a stay at home mom for her three sons.

A memorial service and Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 24, 2015, at St. Mark Catholic Church, Rothschild, with Rev. Allan Slowiak officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. and continue until the time of service at the church. Burial will take place at a later date at St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery, Stevens Point. A second memorial service will be held at a later date in Quincy, IL.
