Diane Joy Lemma

Diane Lemma, age 84, of Wausau passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at home with her loving family by her side.

Diane was born on December 31, 1939 in Chicago, IL to A.P. and Madeline Haemmerle. After graduation from Wausau Senior High in 1958 she went on to work at Winklemans followed by Marc's Big Boy. 

Diane is survived by her husband of 63 years, Wayne, of Wausau; children, Kathleen Macomber and Jon Lemma, both of Wausau; grandchildren David (Alycia Denzin) Macomber and Danielle (Kalin) Irick of Wausau and great grandson Kyden.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Warren and Roger. 

There will be a visitation held on Tuesday, August 13 at Helke Funeral Home, 302 Spruce Street, from 11am until the time of the memorial service at 12 pm.

The family would like to thank Compassus Hospice Services of Wausau especially Jennifer, Lauren, Brandi, and Roseanne for their loving care.
