Diane Weise went home to be her heavenly father surrounded by family on January 13th, 2015. She is in heaven rejoicing and is now cancer free. She was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ and always tried to honor and glorify God in all that she did. Diane was actively involved in her church and served in Children's Church, Vacation Bible School, and Awana. Some of her favorite times were worshipping the Lord through song in The Promise and Christmas Dinner Theater. She will be remembered for her wonderful sense of empathy and ability to always help those in need.
She was born April 22, 1961 in South Milwaukee to the late John and Carrie Galuska of Wausau. Diane was a 1979 graduate of Wausau East High School. On September 17th, 1982 she married her best friend Mark Weise at Bible Truth Chapel, Wausau. While raising their two children, Timothy and Jennifer, Diane took great pride in taking care of her family and will always be remembered for being a faithful wife and loving mother. Her famous chocolate chip cookies, fudge, and cheese cake will be missed. She always looked forward to the Christmas Tradition of traveling to the local Christmas tree farm to cut down that one special tree. Her hobbies included reading, cooking and baking, collecting porcelain dolls, taking care of her flowers and going for long walks with her dog, Teddy.
Survivors include her husband Mark of Ringle, son, Timothy of Ringle, daughter, Jennifer of Stevens Point, mother, Carrie Galuska of Wausau, sister, Linda (Tom) Wissbeck of Milwaukee, brother, Tom Galuska of Merrill, brother Craig (Sue Neihoff) Galuska of Wisconsin and brother-in-law, Rob (Nancy) Weise of Wausau. Diane was preceded in death by her father, John Galuska, brother, Gary Galuska, and Mark's parents, Bob and Mary Lou Weise.
