Dolores Beck

Dolores M. Beck, 92, of Schofield, formerly of the town of Easton, passed away at Copperleaf Memory Care, on Sunday, May 29, 2016.

She was born in the Town of Hewitt in August of 1923, to Joseph and Selma "Sally" (Winters) Stoklasa. Dolores graduated from Wausau High School. She married Milton Beck in Wausau on May 18, 1946 and together they ran the family dairy farm in the town of Easton. They won many quality awards for their milk.

Dolores enjoyed reading, baking, and playing card games with her grandchildren. She was an active member of the Badger Homemakers Club from 1947-2005. She was also an American Gold Star Mother. In later years she enjoyed getting together with her cousins for birthdays and other celebrations.

Survivors include her children, John (Barbara) Beck of Marshfield, Allen (Sue) Beck of Aniwa, David (Betty) Beck of Menomonee Falls, Keith Beck of Wausau, and Mary (Dale) Gohdes of Wausau; grandchildren, Robert, James, Shawn (Julie), Stephanie, Jaclyn (Christopher), Matthew, Peter (Cassandra), Anna (Josh), Paul (Emily), Jonathan, and Daniel; great-grandson, Mason; brother, Joe Stoklasa of Wausau; sister-in-law, Joyce Stoklasa of Ocala, Florida; cousin and friend, Florence Blaher of Wausau; and dear friend, LaVern Etter of Rockford, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton; parents, Joseph and Selma; son, Robert; granddaughter, Emmie; and brother, Lloyd.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 3, 2016, at Church of the Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ with Father Robert Schaller officiating. Family and friends may call on Thursday, June 2, beginning at 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Helke Funeral Home, Wausau, and again at the church on Friday beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, town of Texas.
