Dolores was born
Dolores was a devoted mother, grandmother, and later great-grandmother who reveled in spending time with her children.
Throughout her life she was a wonderful cook and baker, Dolores liked nothing more than to cook something special for family.
Dolores spent most of her working years on the dairy farm until 1974 when she began working for the American Legion for many years.
In her free time, she enjoyed crocheting, playing card games (especially sheepshead and canasta), and growing beautiful flowers and raspberries in her garden.
Dolores was always an easy going woman who never complained.
She had a wonderful sense of humor and was quoted as telling her family, “don’t chase a bear with a bare behind.”
Throughout her life, she was devoted to her Lord and was a loyal member of
Dolores is survived by one daughter; Joanne (Arnold) Friedrich of the town of Wausau, two sons; Dale (Bernadette) Ninnemann of Wausau, James (Kelly) Ninnemann of Wausau, 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and three sisters; Ruth (Leon) Zastrow of the town of Wausau, Shirley (DuWayne) Marquardt of Wausau and Beverly Zahrt of Wausau.
