Donald Phillip Guillaume, born on July 6, 1938, in Moon, Wisconsin, to Helen and William Guillaume, passed away peacefully leaving behind a rich legacy of love and hard work. He was raised on a farm as part of a large Catholic family, fostering strong values that stayed with him throughout his life.
Don attended Mosinee High School and continued his life’s journey when he married the love of his life, Joyce Lahr, on September 27, 1958. Their enduring marriage spanned 58 years until Joyce’s passing in 2017. Together, they cherished countless moments, from joyful dances and trips to the casino, to sharing a love for country music and tending to their home.
With over 50 years in the real estate business, Don was known not only for his dedication and hard work but also for his warm sense of humor, often lightening the mood with a well-timed joke. He actively volunteered with his church and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need, showcasing his compassionate spirit.
Don is now reunited with his beloved wife and rests in the gentle embrace of the Lord. He is survived by his daughter, Cathy MacKay, and son, Ken Guillaume, along with his cherished grandsons: Mike, Andy, Dan Guillaume, and Adam MacKay. He also leaves behind his great-grandchildren: Dylan, Tanner, Riley, and Grace, and a sister, Margaret Filtz, along with many sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces, and nephews who will forever hold him in their hearts.
Donald is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Joyce Guillaume; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Guillaume; his parents, Helen and William Guillaume; and his brothers: Alfred, Maurice, Jerome, Wilfred, Carl, DuWayne, Wilmer, Eugene, Clarence, and Ralph Guillaume.
