Donald Naef

Donald Naef, 78, of Wausau passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2013 at Aspirus Hospice House.
He was born June 20, 1935 in Wausau to the late Otto and Anna (Kaatz) Naef. On June 27, 1959, he married Ruth Ann Imer in Milwaukee. They made their home in Wausau. Don worked at Marathon Electric and then various businesses in dairy equipment sales and service. He then retired as a systems analyst for National Farmers Organization. Don enjoyed the outdoors especially hunting, fishing, archery and just watching nature.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth Ann of Wausau, four sisters, Dorothy Jeske of Appleton, Adele Naef of Appleton, Sylvia Kelbert of Oshkosh, Eline (Harold) Forsberg of Hardwick, MN, sister-in-law, Ellyn Naef of Woodville, WI and many nieces and nephews. Don was preceded in death by three sisters, infant Edna Naef, Leona and Evelyn Nueske and three brothers, Harold, Raymond and Leon.
Funeral services will be 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at the Helke Funeral Home, 302 Spruce St., Wausau. Visitation will be Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of services.
