Donna Utecht

Donna Utecht, 65, formerly of Wausau passed away Saturday, January 21, 2012 at her Neenah home surrounded by her family. She was born April 17, 1946 in Wausau to the late Frank and Irene (Thiele) Boruch. She was a graduate of Wausau East High School. On August 29, 1964, Donna married Ken Utecht in Tacoma, WA. While living in Wausau, Donna and Ken purchased Utecht's Music and Games in 1977 and then in 1981 purchased Marathon Junction. Donna was known for her hard work and never missed a day. Later, they were caretakers of Kastle Kampgrounds in Marion and currently worked at Willy Beamon's Sports Bar and Grill in Neenah where Donna cleaned, waitressed, and tended bar.
When Donna wasn't working, she enjoyed latchhooking, watching TV games shows especially The Price Is Right and Let's Make A Deal, and taking care of her two dogs, June and Mae. She was also a devout Elvis and Wayne Newton fan.
Survivors include her husband, Ken of Neenah, daughter, Brenda (Mike) Camp of Schofield, son, Kurt (Andrea) Sr. of Mosinee, eleven grandchildren, Kelsey, Kurt Jr., Samantha, Thomas, Christine, Camie, Chelsea, Noah, Nathaniel, Christian, Vivian, one great granddaughter, Kayda, and her sister, DeDe (Brian Doerr) Richards of Wausau.
She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Barbara Utecht.
Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at Helke Funeral Home, Wausau. Mr. Don Hildebrandt will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau.
