Dorothy Schultz, 91, formerly of Wausau, passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at her home in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina.
She was born June 18, 1926 in Wausau to the late George and Cecelia Iversen. On October 4, 1947, Dorothy married Roland Schultz in Wausau. He preceded her in death on February 9, 1986. Dorothy thoroughly enjoyed retirement. She loved to bake, take long walks on the beach and was an avid shopper.
Survivors include a son, Jerry (Debbie) Schultz of Burke, VA; a sister, Jane Gahnz; two brothers, Robert and Franklin Iversen; two nieces, Kathy (Bill) Georgen and Barbara (Mark) Splinter and two nephews, Hal (Kathy) Bruyere and Craig (Cathy) Flagel.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 28, 2017 at St. Matthew Parish, 221 S. 28th Ave. Wausau. Father Robert Thorn will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park. Friends may call at the church from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services. You may sign our family guest book at helke.com.
