Eileen Wendt

Eileen June Wendt, 67, of Wausau, died unexpectedly Monday, October 19, 2015, at her home in Wausau.

Eileen was born June 26, 1948, in Wausau to the late Milton "Pete" and Melba (Langhoff) Wendt. She received her education in the Wausau schools and graduated from East High School.

She worked in various jobs in the area until beginning her career as a waitress. She was employed for many years at Dairyman's Country Club in Boulder Junction, WI until her retirement.

Eileen is survived by four siblings, Char Barr and her husband Ron Augustine, Wausau, Gloria Wendt, Wausau, Charles (Debbie) Wendt, Crescent City, CA and Sheila (Patrick) Schwartz, Wausau, a great niece Keli (Dusty Svacina) Kleinschmidt, a great great nephew Gavin Svacina, a nephew Jeffrey Wendt, a niece Lisa Kleman, her very best friend of 45 years Mary Malinowski of Wausau and lifelong friend Dawn Beckman of Gulf Shores, AL.

She was preceded in death by parents, two brothers, Randall and Blaine Wendt, a nephew Lonnie Barr and a niece Heidi Barr.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 24, 2015, at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 600 Stevens Drive, Wausau, Rev. Ken Albers will officiate. Visitation will from 10:00 a.m. to 11a.m. at the church. Burial will be 9 a.m Monday, October 26, 2015 at Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau.
