Elaine Elizabeth Stotmeister, 81, Wausau, died Monday, February 9, 2009, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
Mrs. Stotmeister was born November 9, 1927, in Wausau, to the late Louis Julius and Ida (Kitzerow) Kroening. She was united in marriage to Edward James Stotmeister on August 27, 1982.
She enjoyed playing cards, bingo, listening to polka music, and especially spending time with her friends and husband.
She is survived by her good friends, Cheryl Berst; and Leon and Carol Zieglmeier. Her husband, Edward, predeceased her in 2000.
A funeral service will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 13, 2009, at Wesley United Methodist Church, Wausau. The Reverend Tim Vanden Langenberg will officiate. Visitation will be at the church on Friday, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
