Elfriede Breckner

Elfi Breckner passed away peacefully on January 9, 2025, at the age of 97. Born on September 19, 1927, in Waldkirchen, Germany, she was a remarkable woman whose life was characterized by her unwavering dedication to family, her love for baking, and her passion for reading and gardening.

Elfi married Egon Breckner in 1947 in Deggendorf, Germany, and together they built a life filled with love and devotion. After relocating to Wausau, Wisconsin, she continued to embrace her role as a homemaker, crafting a warm and inviting home for her family. Elfi was well-known for her exceptional baking skills, often delighting friends and family with her delicious creations.

Elfi is preceded in death by her husband, Egon and son, Egon Jr.

As we remember Elfi Breckner, we celebrate the legacy of love, kindness, and creativity she leaves behind. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her and loved her.
