Eliner Louise Plisch, 98 of Wausau went home to be with Jesus on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at her home.
She was born July 3, 1915 in Merrill, WI, daughter of the late Robert and Emma (Eggers) Degner. Eliner received her education in Merrill where she graduated from high school. She was united in marriage to Robert H. Plisch on July 3, 1937 in Chicago, IL and they made their home in Wausau. Eliner was a homemaker and enjoyed giving and sharing her talents. She was known by her family as "Betty Crocker". She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and always anxious for a card game of Sheeps Head. She was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in Wausau.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert, a daughter Barbara, son Bruce and two grandchildren, Jessie and Jennifer. She is survived by her children Jacqueline (Donald) Richter of Albuquerque, NM, William (Emmy) Plisch of Walnut Creek, CA, Robert B. (Sherri) Plisch of Fort Meyers, FL, Patricia (Joseph) Bell of Albuquerque, NM, James L (Sandra) Plisch of Wausau, Sandra L. (Karl) Gutierrez of Grants, NM, Susan L. (William) Felix of Albuquerque, NM, Kathryn M. (Gary) Matthews of Des Plaines, IL and Mary B. (Dennis) Blaschka of Wausau, 20 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and a sister Dorothy Buck of Milwaukee, WI.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Helke Funeral Home with visitation at 10:00 AM. Burial will be at the Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery Town of Texas, WI.
