Ervin Hannemann

Ervin F. Hannemann, 94, Wausau, died March 16, 2014, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

He was born August 19, 1919, to the late Otto and Katherine (Koppa) Hannemann, in the town of Wein. On October 25, 1941, he was united in marriage to Bernice Mohr. Ervin worked as a self-employed carpenter.

Ervin is survived by his son, Roger Hannemann, Wausau; two daughters, Phyllis (Gary) Albright, Kronenwetter, and Harriett (Edward) Adamski, Wausau; eleven grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice, in 1998; daughter, Georgia, in 1999; four sisters; and one brother.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 20th, from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m., at the Helke Funeral Home, Wausau; with a prayer service to follow. Interment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Kronenwetter.
