Ethel was born
August 30, 1926

, to the late Paul and Bertha (Pagel) Ninnemann. She married William Wischmeyer on
August 16, 1963

Pine City

Minnesota
. Ethel owned and operated the Bon Ton Café in
Wausau
. After selling the restaurant, she owned and operated the

th
Street
Laundry. Ethel was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Montgomery Plant Post 10 of Wausau. She enjoyed bowling, golfing, reading, flower gardening, sewing, arts and crafts, playing cards and spending time with her family to include special time with her siblings.
Survivors include her husband William of Wausau, two daughters; Marlene (Donald) Schewe of Wausau, Pamela (Michael) Apfelbeck of Rhinelander, one son; Glen Kordus of Windsor, 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, one sister Ruth
Reinicke of Wausau, and one brother;
Melvin (Caroline) Ninnemann both of Wausau.
Ethel was preceded in death by one son Dale Kordus, one sister Marcella Kell and three brothers; Clarence, Marvin, and Harold Ninnemann.
Funeral services will be
11 a.m.
Saturday, June 20, 2009
at St. Stephen Lutheran Church,
Wausau
. Officiating will be the Reverend Gary Froseth. Entombment will be in Restlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be Friday from
4 p.m.
until
7 p.m.
at the Helke Funeral Home,
Wausau
, and Saturday from
10 a.m.
until the time of services at
