Evelyn A. Gorski

Evelyn A. Gorski, 99, of Wausau, passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2024. She was born on June 26, 1925, in Chicago, IL, to the late George and Margaret (Williams) Swinney.

Evelyn is survived by her children, David Gorski, Carol Walters, Ronald Gorski, and Scott (Linda) Gorski; grandchildren, Courtney Purvis, Shawn Gorski, Dillon Gorski, and Dakota Gorski; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Jean Buney. 

She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Gorski; son, Perry Gorski; siblings, George Swinney, Margaret Petri, and Ina Swinney.

A visitation will start at 5:00 PM on Monday, October 14, 2024, at Brainard Funeral Home in Wausau. A prayer service will begin at 7:30 PM. Burial will take place on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at 1:00 PM, at Elm Lawn Memorial Park in Elmhurst, IL.
