Evelyn Krueger

Evelyn was born December 1st 1916, in Oshkosh, WI, the daughter of the late Frank and Adeline (Richards) Moderow. On February 14th 1933, she was united in marriage to George Krueger. Evelyn and George raised 9 children and enjoyed 43 years together before his death in 1976. She was a member of 1st United Methodist Church, Wausau and very active in the women's Esther Circle.

At the age of 94, Evelyn Ethel Krueger died October 28th 2011, at Marywood Center, Wausau, under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice.

She will be sadly missed by her family including her 5 daughters, Darlene (Derald) Kell, Carol Rhyner, Leila Howland, Janice Normand, Judith (Daniel) Wadzinski; 3 sons, Ronald, Thomas, and Richard (Kim) Krueger; 25 grandchildren; numerous great- and great-great grandchildren; son-in-law, Michael Goetz; brother-in-law, Robert Osborn; sister-in-law, Joanne Gnirk, Minnesota; special friend, Anita Rodewald; and other family members and friends.

Along with her parents and husband, Evelyn was predeceased by her daughter, Diane Goetz; and 7 siblings.

A celebration of Evelyn's life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 1st, at First United Methodist Church, Wausau. The Reverend Gerald Morris will officiate. Burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Family will receive guests Tuesday at church, beginning at 9:00 a.m. until the service.
