Evelyn A. Remley

On May 8,2024, this world became a little sadder place with the passing of an extraordinary woman, Evelyn Ardith Remley. 

Many would consider Evelyn to be an ordinary wife and mother, but they would be wrong.  

Evelyn was born to Ellen and Clarence Teigen on April 7, 1938. She grew up as a middle child with an older and younger sister. Evelyn graduated from high school in 1958 and in 1959 she met Harry Remley while working in a grocery store. In the following years they had six children; Harry Edward 1960, Timothy Eric 1961, Micheal Albert 1963, Tammie Marcell 1965, Karen Charlotte 1968, and David Clarence 1970. They chose to raise their family in the City of Tyler, Mn. During that time Evelyn held many jobs ranging from childcare provider to EMT. After the children were raised Evelyn and Harry moved to Tracy, Mn where she held a job as a waitress. They then moved to Marshall, Mn where Evelyn held a job in the local K-Mart. After some time, Evelyn and Harry retired to Pine City MN and then Hinkley, MN where she returned to being a wife full time. After some time, they moved to Wausau WI where she passed while holding the hand of her husband of 64 years Harry. 

Evelyn was proceeded in death by her parents, older sister Carol and her son Micheal. She is survived by her husband and remaining children as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and her younger sister Sandy.  

Evelyn was 86 years young at her death. She was an exceptional lady and will be missed.
