Evelyn “Dolly” Schreiber, 91, of Wausau, died Tuesday April 21, 2009 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
Dolly was born October 14, 1917 in Reeder, N.D. to the late Joseph and Leona (Dobberpuhl) Pecha. She married Walter A. Schreiber on October 28, 1939 in Mosinee. Walter preceded her in death on April 18, 2003. Dolly worked for Marathon Battery and Crestline. She was a member of the Our Savior’s Lutheran Church Ladies Aid and the AARP.
Survivors include one son Walter Schreiber Jr. of Wausau, two grandchildren; Connie (Kevin) Koppa of Hatley and Alan Goetsch of Wausau, two great grandchildren; Kyle and Cody Koppa, and one sister Dorothy Miller of Mosinee.
Dolly was preceded in death by her daughter Arlene Goetsch, five brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be 5:30 p.m. Friday April 24, 2009 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Wausau. Officiating will be the Reverend Robert Edwards. Burial will be in the Mosinee Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 1 p.m. until the time of services at the church.
