Forrest Kimmons

Forrest (Twig) Kimmons, 53, of Town of Stettin, died Monday, September 29, 2008 at home surrounded by family after a courageous battle with cancer.

Forrest was born February 12, 1955 in Merrill to Leonard and Harriet (Rankin) Kimmons. Forrest and Patricia (Pagel) were married on October 20, 1979 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Town of Stettin. Forrest and Pat were blessed with their daughter Samantha in 2000. He loved spending time with family and enjoyed camping and all sports. Forrest worked for Northern Valley Workshop for twenty-six years.

Forrest is survived by his beloved wife, Pat; and their daughter Samantha. He is also survived by his parents, Leonard and Harriet of Tomahawk; and three sisters, Connie (Mike) Gerber of Mosinee, Jean Wilson of Burnsville, MN, and Jane (John) Antross of Athens. Forrest was preceded in death by his sister, Beverly.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Friday, October 3, 2008 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Town of Stettin. Rev. Clarence Gall will be officiating. Visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 PM Thursday, October 2, at Helke Funeral Home, Wausau and one hour prior to the funeral service at the church. Burial will follow the funeral service in Stettin Christian Cemetery. You may sign our family guestbook at www.helke.com .
