Frances Wilk

Frances Christine Wilk, 90, of Weston, passed away Thursday, June 2, 2016, at her home under the care of Ministry Hospice.
Frances was born May 5, 1926, in Ringle, WI, daughter of the late John and Agnes (Dobusz) Boruch. On September 26, 1942 she was united in marriage to Joseph P. Wilk. Frances and Joseph made their home all their married life in the Wausau area. For many years she worked as a care giver for area families and for many of those cared for Father King and his sister Betty.
Frances enjoyed farming, working on her doll collection, making jewelry and baking wedding and birthday cakes.
She is survived by two sons, Michael (Juelle) Wilk, Dodgeville, WI and Roger (Doris) Wilk, Hurst, TX, five grandchildren, Brandi, Kirstin, Robin, Michael J. and Cordell, five great grandchildren, Noah, Gabriel, Jordan, Sydney and Tanner, four sisters, Victoria Legenza, Elizabeth Legenza, Eleanor Augustine and Cecila Kwiatkowski.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents, husband Joseph P. Wilk on October 16, 2005, two sons, Joseph R. and Jeffery, brothers, Stanley, Andrew, Frank and Joseph, sisters, Agnes, Sophia, Stella, Julia and Helen.
A Mass of Resurrection will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at Saint Therese Parish, 113 West Kort Street, Rothschild, WI. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the church. Burial will be at Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau.
