Francis Karl, 64, Schofield, died Saturday, September 12, 2009 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.
Francis Raymond Karl was born February 28, 1945 to the late Wenzel and Florence (Carolfi) Karl Sr. Francis retired from L+S Electric in February. In his free time, he enjoyed refinishing cabinets and woodworking.
Francis is survived by his daughter, Karen (Jeff) Wilke of Weston; grandsons, Mark and David; ex-wife, Donna Karl; brothers, James, Wenzel Jr., and Ronald Karl; sisters, Helen (Jerome) Andres and Annette Deuel; and many extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Martin and Richard Karl.
Funeral services will be 12:00 PM Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at Helke Funeral Home, Wausau. Deacon Robert Anderson will be officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM and last until the time of services on Wednesday at the Helke Funeral Home. There will be a private burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery at a later time.
