Gary Bloomquist

Gary E. Bloomquist, 60, of Wausau, passed away on Friday, November 4, 2011 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was born to Lawrence and Anne (Padmore) Bloomquist on November 1, 1951 in Wausau. Gary spent the early part of his life in Wausau, and then lived in California and Massachusetts. He moved back to Wausau in 2003 and was always there for his mom and dad. Gary served his country in the U.S. Army.
Gary was a very helpful person and always made sure that his parents had what they needed. He enjoyed helping with errands and any other favors that his mother might need. Gary also liked to get out for a ride and enjoy the Wisconsin scenery.
He is survived by a son, Heath Bloomquist; mother, Anne Bloomquist; brother, John (Susan) Bloomquist; and sister, Joyce (Henry) Relski.
Gary was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence.
A funeral service will take place at 11:00 am on Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at St. Stephen Lutheran Church, 512 McClellan St., with the Rev. Gary Froseth officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Wausau, with military honors by V.F.W. Burns Post #388.
