Gene Herbert Weyneth, 79, died Saturday, August 24th 2013, at Colonial Manor, Wausau.
He was born January 11th 1934, in the town of Frankfurt, WI, to the late Ernest and Bertha (Passehl) Weyneth. For many years he worked as a mechanic for Schuette Builders, in Wausau. Gene also was a ginseng farmer and in his spare time enjoyed restoring trucks.
Gene is survived by his two sisters, Delores (Ray) Vesel, Sterling, IL, and Joyce (Ronald) Klatt, Wausau; two brothers, Ernest (Barbara) Weyneth, Oak Forest, IL, and Winston Weyneth; and 11 nieces and nephews.
A memorial visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m., on Friday, August 30th, at the Helke Funeral Home, Wausau. Burial will be at 10 a.m., on Saturday, August 31st, at Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Please meet at the front gate.
