George C. Polley Jr., 50, of Wausau died early Monday, October 12, 2015 in Wausau, WI.

At the age of 13 George would tag along with his father in his crane operating business which allowed him the opportunity to learn the business. After he completed Union Local 139 Engineering school in Coloma he began his career as a crane operator for the Union. George loved his work and enjoyed anything "high and heavy." His career allowed him the chance to travel throughout the United States working on building anything from nuclear power plants to bridges.
George had a love for bluegrass music and enjoyed going to festivals and concerts on the 400 Block. He also enjoyed riding his Harley and rebuilding transmissions. However his great love and enjoyment was any opportunity spending time with his daughter, Lucy.
He is survived by his parents George Sr. and Beverly Polley, daughter Lucy, two brothers, Jason and Timothy all of Wausau, and his many friends and acquaintances.

In Memory of my Dad
If I could write a story it would be the greatest ever told of a kind and loving father who had a heart of gold. If I could write a million pages but still be unable to say, just how much I love and miss him every single day. I will remember all he taught me, I'm hurt but won't be sad, because he'll send me down the answers and he'll always be MY DAD.
