Gladys Horan

Gladys V. Horan, 93, of Schofield, passed away Sunday, December 28, 2014 at Care Partners Assisted Living in Schofield under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care Hospice Services.
She was born January 19, 1921 in Lansing, IA, daughter of Howard and Marjorie (Piquet) Goodell. Gladys was united in marriage to Leonard Horan on June 17, 1944 in Schofield.
She was employed in the bookkeeping department at JI Case in Racine, WI and later Central Plumbing in Wausau for 14 years.
Gladys is survived by two brothers Ronald Goodell of Wausau and Edward Goodell of Schofield.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Leonard on March 16, 1997, one sister Jean Wendorf and a nephew Douglas Dahm.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at the Helke Funeral Home, 302 Spruce Street, Wausau.
Rev. David Hagen of Christian Assembly Church will officiate.
Burial will be at Pine Grove Cemetery, Wausau.
Friends may call Tuesday from 1 p.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.
