Gladys Kaatz

Gladys was born March 19th 1918, in Wausau, the daughter of the late Emil and Martha (Winter) Kaatz. She moved to Arizona for work, with her sister, Doris; and then travelled to California where she spent 10 years in the ministry. In 1956, she returned home to Wausau, for health reasons. She became a devoted caregiver for her parents, brother, and uncle.

On Sunday, April 8th 2012, Gladys Marian Kaatz, died at Mount View Care Center. She was 94 years old.

She will be lovingly remembered by her sister, Doris Kersten, Schofield, WI; three sisters-in-law, Bernice Hoyum, Rib Mountain, Ella Kaatz, Mesa, AZ, and Lorraine Kaatz, Hot Springs, AR; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews; and other family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at noon, Friday, April 13th, at the Helke Funeral Home, Wausau. Family will receive guests on Friday, at the funeral home, beginning at 11:00 a.m. until the service.
