Glenn had a love for animals and earlier in his life held memberships in 4-H and FFA.  He received numerous blue ribbons, championships, and outstanding showmanship awards including Marathon County’s outstanding young person award.

He was active in his church all of his life serving as a deacon, elder, Sunday School teacher, Catechism teacher, and worked with the award-winning Bible quiz team.

Survivors include his wife, Virgean “Leaha” of Rothschild; daughters, Tammy (John) Lambright of Edwardsville, IL, Laurie (Paul) Van Beek of Eau Claire, and Heidi (Craige) Thompson of Austin, TX; grandchildren, A.J.
