Harold Draeger

November 2, 1936 — February 4, 2012

Harold V. Draeger, 75, passed away peacefully Saturday, February 4th 2012 at his daughter's home in Milwaukee, Wisconsin after battling cancer. He was born on November 2nd 1936 in Wausau to the late Roger V. and Frieda M. (Kell) Draeger. Harold was a 1955 graduate of Wausau Senior High School and enlisted in the United States Navy from 1955 to 1959.

Harold was a shift supervisor at Kraft Foods in Wausau for over 20 years and retired in 1991. He loved the outdoors, riding his mopeds, and spending time with his Labrador Retriever "Co-Co".

Harold was preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey M. Draeger, his brother, Roger V.Draeger; and nephew, Major Rhory R. Draeger.

He is survived by his two daughters, Kim K. Draeger and Kay A. (Jay) Kasmerchak; two granddaughters, Kelsey A. and Cami K. Kasmerchak; ex-wife, Carol J. Draeger, all from Milwaukee, Wisconsin; a niece, Sue N. Draeger, of Schofield; and sister-in-law, Ruth Draeger, of Schofield.

A funeral service will be at 4:00 pm on Thursday, February 9th 2012 at Helke Funeral Home, in Wausau, with Deacon Bob Anderson, Church of St. Anne, Wausau, officiating. Family and friends may call beginning at 2:00 pm until the time of service at the funeral home.
