Harvey Seidler, 85, of Wausau passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at Kennedy Park Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Schofield.
He was born October 27, 1925 in the town of Maine to the late Edward and Margaret (Gehrke) Seidler. On May 6, 1967, Harvey married Lillian Borman in Wausau. Together they operated their town of Hewitt dairy farm. After retiring, they moved to Wausau and made their home at 1506 Cleveland Ave. Harvey enjoyed playing Bingo at the Eaglea�(TM)s Club and the VFW. He was a frequent visitor at the Commission on Aging where he played Sheepshead with his friends. He loved watching the Green Bay Packers and was known for having a green thumb in raising vegetables and Christmas Cactus.
Survivors include his sister, Joan (Linus) Schmitt of Wausau, sister-in-law, Loretta Seidler of Wausau, seven nephews, one niece, and six stepchildren. Harvey was further preceded in death by Lillian on September 22, 1988, and his brother Ervin.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 19, 2011 at St. Stephen Lutheran Church, Wausau. Reverend Gary Froseth will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.
