Howie Griffin

Howard (Howie) Griffin, age 77 of Kronenwetter, WI was called up to his Lord and passed away peacefully on Friday April 11th at Aspirus Palliative Care in Wausau. 

Howie was born on August 23rd, 1947, in Tomah, WI to parents, Roland and Leola Griffin. Howie loved spending time with his wife, daughter, grandchildren, and family. He also loved fishing, golfing, playing poker, camping, and an occasional trip to the casino. He had a way of bringing a smile to people’s faces with his “Howieisms” and was often like a kid that never grew up.

Howie is survived by his wife of 39 years Lynn Griffin, his daughter Andrea (Scott) Van Natta, three grandchildren Ella, Nickols, and Nadia, sister Veva (Robert) Knutson, brother Vernon (Janet) Griffin, sisters-in-law Christine Reese, Terry (Dwight) Anderson, Laurie Alvord, Barb (Eugene) Griffin, brothers-in-law, Chuck (Virginia) Picard, Jeff (Maggie) Alvord, Mark (Cindy) Alvord, David (Nikki) Alvord, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents Roland and Leola, brothers Roger Griffin, Eugene Griffin, sisters Virginia Picard, and Lisa Griffin.
