Ida Louise Millard, 94, of Wausau, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2017, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
Ida was born October 16, 1922, in Mosinee, WI, daughter of the late William and Agnes (Steffen) Stengle. She received her education in Mosinee and married Robert Millard in Kentucky.
Ida was employed at Northern Mattress and Moxness in Wausau from which she retired.
Ida was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, She enjoyed reading, gardening, crocheting and in her younger years enjoyed dancing. She was a member of St. Andrew's Lutheran Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert in 1958, a daughter Mary Jane and two grandchildren and brothers and sisters.
Ida is survived by three children, Carol Sorensen of Wausau, Dale (Laura) Millard both of Wausau and Brian (Sue) Millard of Atlanta, GA, three grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one step grandchild.
Private services will be held at the Helke Funeral Home in Wausau.
