Prior to retirement, she and her husband ran their own business. She will always be remembered as a kind, caring person, who cared for family members when needed and did volunteer work at the hospital. She enjoyed playing the organ and piano, although she couldn't read a note - she played by "ear", and knew many, many of the old songs. She enjoyed watching "old time" movies, and Lawrence Welk including the old re-runs.
